Select your tech, choose your character, and use the arrow keys to walk around the virtual planet!

Plus, before the start of the convention you're going to get a tutorial video teaching you how to use the platform.
All you have to worry about is getting excited.

How do I jam in an 8-bit world?
Great Question!
Even though the virtual world is 8-bit, the cameras are real!
Convention attendees fade into view as you get close to each other.
When you enter the lecture hall, all you can see is the lecturer's camera, but when you're jamming, you can see the webcams of everybody near you.
It's awesome!
What if I'm not available for the whole 2 days
Just like a real convention where you can escape to your hotel room, there will be places an UnConventional.Fun for you to log out and get some rest.
No matter if you're arriving early, leaving late, or just need to stretch... we've got you covered.
Can I use my phone/tablet?
You're going to need a Laptop or Desktop Computer. The UnConventional.Fun Software does not work on mobile.
Will the event be recorded?
YES AND NO.
Let me explain.
Unfortunately since the platform is a massive online world with hundreds of conversations it's impossible to record the jamming and interaction.
But - All of the lectures, panels, and shows actually happen on zoom and they will be recorded.
So every event you see on the schedule WILL be recorded and yours FOREVER.
But, the mingling around, making friends, jamming, and staying up late for hours sharing stories... That part only happens AT UnConventional.Fun in Space!
I'm bad with tech. Is this going to be hard?
Actually, it's incredibly simple. Log on, pick your character, and you're ready to go.
Plus, we're going to send out an easy step-by-step tutorial before the convention so you can learn exactly how it all works by the time you start.
Oh... and during the convention we'll have people available for tech support if you need any help or have any questions.
